Michail Chairetakis, having deep Cretan origins, raised in Iraklion and studied Mechanical Engineering in Univerisity of Patras where later he started his PhD Thesis in Robotics. His army duties were in Tripolis and Kalamata, in the Hellenic Airforce.
Worked in Athens for over 20 years in senior IT positions (more than 15 years as an IT director) and afterwards started his own IT management and consulting firm that had to shut it down due to Hellenic crisis.
Since 2015, he relocated as an actual economic refugee and now he lives and works as an IT manager in a company located in a small village of East Germany near the Czech border.
Although being abroad he has not abolished his past and started since 2017 to write numerous articles in various media about the Greek crisis and life in the place that are still living, his beloved persons, family, friends, neighbors, who are still behind and suffering.
He believes that above money and career, most important is quality of life and that Πατρίδα and all that is symbolising, is a high ideal and cause that you can even give your life for.
