Here’s something worth considering when you try to figure out what causes all this upheaval in the Eastern Mediterranean and why Erdogan is being so aggressive towards Greece and Cyprus.
According to geological surveys, there are about 52 trillion cubic meters of natural gas in the eastern Mediterranean Sea, the biggest of which are in:
Greece: 27 trillion m3
Cyprus: 4 trillion m3
Israel/Palestine: 8 trillion m3
Egypt: 9 trillion m3
Does this help you understand things a little better?
